NFT ART creator - From Birmingham, England - UK Female crypto Artist
I, Sian Victoria have been creating digital art since the dial-up days of AOL and later Myspace, especially during the years 2006-2008 when I created glitched-themed art using my photography under the emo name ‘Flashxcore’ while also creating physical art on canvas and on any scrap piece of cardboard I could find.
Since 2010 I’ve been a self-employed content creator at Sian Victoria. I also have a first-class master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations. From 2010-2015 I owned an online vintage store selling my reworked creations under Sian Victoria Boutique.
My tie-dye t-shirts and studded neon graffiti high-waisted distressed shorts were seen on ‘scene kids’ all over the world until my designs were copied by the mainstream. Prior to this in school, I customised grungy frames and stencilled tote bags and sold them on various marketplaces.
I’ve been a crypto enthusiast since my first BTC blockchain transaction on 1st October 2017 and was first introduced to NFT art in late 2018 thanks to an OG NFT Artist.
As a full-time travel blogger and one of the best Birmingham bloggers (as mentioned by Culture Trip). I regrettably didn’t find the time to mint until I got struck down with 'the virus' for months. Thankfully, the rare downtime and time to reflect on life enabled me to mint my first NFT piece on Rarible on the 18th of February 2021.
Since then I've loved discovering that some can make a living from selling dark and glitchy art like what I enjoyed creating in 2006 when I got called ‘weird’ for creating such things which eventually made me struggle to express myself and pushed me onto a slightly different career path.
Thankfully, I've grown a lot and no longer want to suppress my emotions when it comes to creating art. I just want to create whatever the fudge* I want and no longer care what others think.
